Brownsburg Parks, in partnership with IU Health West Hospital, is pleased to continue the tradition of providing fresh produce, dairy and meats to the Brownsburg community.

Town Council meetings are held in the Council Room at Town Hall on the second and fourth Thursday of the month with the exception of November and December. The meetings are open to the public. Town Council and other public board and commission meetings are recorded. The Town of Brownsburg acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. In order to assist individuals with disabilities who require special services (i.e. sign interpretive services, alternative audio/visual devices, and amanuenses) for participation in or access to Town sponsored public programs, services, and/or meetings, the Town requests that individuals make requests for these services two business days ahead of the scheduled program, service, and/or meeting. This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. It is slower paced, and focuses on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, relax, and even break a sweat in a supportive environment. Participants are asked to bring their own mats or may use one of ours. All classes are $10 with a $5 discount if you are a Renew Active, Silver & Fit, or Silver Sneakers member.

Do you want to improve your balance and strength? Find a relaxed state? Then Chair Yoga is for you! A stable chair is offered for comfort and reassurance while we move in a gentle, controlled manner.

Move through a slow and steady practice where postures and breath connect to create a simple flow.

Restorative Yoga uses seated, reclined, and mat-based yoga postures/alignments to allow unwinding from the pace of daily living. Longer holds for most postures allows an opportunity to experience deeper stretching, focus, and relaxation. Props, such as blocks and straps, will be available to assist in alignment and support. This class will use breath work practices and also incorporate meditation skills to explore the mind-body connection.
