Welcome to 2021 and the first of our quarterly Open for Business! updates. As a reminder, the purpose of this update is to welcome new businesses and highlight changes to existing businesses in Brownsburg. We expect we will miss a business here and there. If so, please send us a note and we’ll include that business in an upcoming update. Finally, please support all of our local businesses by visiting them!
LifeScience Logistics is investing tens of millions of dollars to add ultra-low frozen storage units at its FDA-regulated storage and distribution facility on Northfield Drive. These freezers will help store COVID-19 vaccines and other injectable drugs, which need to be kept at ultra-low temperatures to maintain the vaccines’ integrity.
Caliber Collision, located at 1050 Patrick Pl. opened in 2020.
In September 2020, Total Body Wellness Medical Clinic opened its doors at 475 E. Northfield Dr. Suite B.
At 463 E Northfield Dr., Car-X Tire and Auto repair store is under construction.
Hendricks Pediatric Dentistry is moving from 1411 S. Green St. to the former Blue River Pharmacy space located at 680 E. 56th St.
Bottles 'N Binkies, formerly an online retailer, recently opened a brick and mortar shop at 1060 E. Main Street, Suite 100.
Valkyrie’s Vault game store celebrated its grand opening at 1040 E. Main Street last August.
Just a couple of doors down – and a couple of months later in October -- Dance Legacy relocated from Indianapolis to open its doors at 1038 E. Main St.
There’s a lot happening at the intersection of Main and Odell streets. On the south side of the street, Chapman Custom Baths opened a new showroom (601 E. Main St.) in December.
Across the street at 618 E. Main St., construction will begin soon on a 7,019 square foot multi-tenant commercial building. Dr. Ashwani Sharma’s Main St. Dental Care will occupy 3,315 square feet and the rest of the space will be open for office or retail space.

Spencer Engineering is relocating from Northfield Drive to 103 E. Main St and will be renovating and expanding the building.
R&R Investigative Services, LLC, a Veteran owned and operated business opened in 2020 and provides investigative and research services.
Cunningham Restaurant Group has started construction on Bru Burger, located in the Green Street Depot. The restaurant plans to open in early 2021.
Care to Change Counseling opened a new location in October at 7230 Arbuckle Commons, Suites 126 and 127, in the Elevate Office Building.
Also in the Elevate Office Building in Suite 256 is Victory Title, Inc. This locally owned and operated title insurance company opened in 2020.
In 2020, hair salon Avant Gard relocated its studio from E. Main Street to 23 Motif Blvd.
Burger King finished their remodel in 2020. The new design now includes two drive-thru windows.
Demolition is beginning on the old Kmart building at 975 N. Green St. A new Kroger store will be built in that location.
In December, the Advisory Plan Commission approved development plans for a 2,300 sq. ft. Panda Express located at located at 1395 N. Green St. in the former All Pro Car Wash location across from Applebee's. Construction on the building will start in late May of 2021 and the restaurant plans to open in early 2022.
Active Family Chiropractic relocated to 729 N. Green Street, Suite C from 1375 N. Green St. Arni’s Restaurant is currently hiring before opening its new location at 251 W. Northfield Dr. The restaurant plans to open for business in early 2021.
Brownsburg Station shopping center is now home to Team Sports, who moved from their location near Kroger in early January to 578 W. Northfield Dr.
Pilates and yoga studio, Inner Balance, opened in 2020 at 690 W. Northfield Dr.
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Nelson Jewelers, a Brownsburg landmark for more than 60 years. Thank you, Jeff and family, for your partnership throughout the decades. You will be missed.
