Leaders of Wisconsin-based boat engine maker Mercury Marine were accompanied by Town of Brownsburg officials, including Town Council President Travis Tschaenn, Clerk-Treasurer Ann Hathaway, Town Manager Deb Cook, and Capital Projects and Field Operations Director Shawn Pabst, to celebrate the opening of a 512,000-square-foot distribution center in Brownsburg. In addition, Congressman Jim Baird, Director of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation Wes Brown, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs from the Office of Governor Eric Holcomb Tyler Warman, and Director of the Greater Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce Rhonda Wiles were in attendance. The new location will create approximately 350 jobs and serve as the company’s global distribution center.

The distribution center is the first project within the new Ronald Reagan Logistics Park, conveniently providing interstate access to I-74. Mercury Marine selected the strategic location to “improve delivery and service to global customers and reduce logistics costs.
“We’re thrilled Mercury Marine chose to complete this major expansion in Brownsburg,” said Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. “This expansion helps to enrich our diverse business community while also providing key capital investment.”
