The Importance of Small Business Saturday

The Town of Brownsburg celebrates our local small businesses and the contributions they make to our local economy and community. With COVID-19 continuing to jeopardize the viability of small businesses, this year more than ever, every shopping dollar spent in Brownsburg counts to help the Brownsburg community remain strong and thrive.

Shopping in Brownsburg also helps keep sales tax dollars within the community, helps local businesses flourish, provides employment opportunities, and helps provide tax revenue that supports emergency services, infrastructure maintenance, and other services.

Small Business Saturday is a national campaign created by American Express in 2010. There is Cyber Monday and Black Friday – Small Business Saturday is a way to show support for our local small businesses during the holiday season. Businesses can create complimentary digital customizable materials to start promoting the day to your customers.
