Leaf Pick-Up Ends in December

Fall leaves on the ground

Leaf Collection

Leaf collection ends December 10.

Leaves should be placed in a recyclable brown bag with the top taped shut - not stapled. Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up, even if you place the plastic bag in a recyclable bag.

  • Keep leaf bags separate from your trash pickup. Please do not add trash, mud, grass clippings, mulch, animal waste, etc. with your leaves. Have bags outside by 6 am on the week of pickup.

Collection

Leaves on the northside (north of Main St./US 136) will be picked up November 29-December 1. Leaves on the southside must be out by Monday, December 6 at 6 am for pickup through December 10.

This pickup does not need to be scheduled, just place leaves at the curb.

Recycling District

Residents are encouraged to use the Hendricks County Recycling District Yard Waste Recycling Center, located at 90 Mardale Drive, for your recycling needs. The center is open April through November. Fees vary based on type of yard waste.
