What has been done with The Walmart Giving Grant
With the Walmart Giving Grant and the local Walmart management team, we have purchased an outdoor rated LED TV for our Community Education Trailer and Public Outreach Tent in order to better serve community engagement events. This TV will serve as a catalyst for delivering our educational messages regarding the Brownsburg Fire Territory and our Community Health and Wellness Partners.
The Office Of the Fire Marshal is responsible for more than fire investigations. They also perform Public Safety Talks, Construction Plan Review, Open Burn Regulations, Senior Living Safety and Education, Home Safety, Business Safety, Fire and Life Safety Inspections, Water Supply for Firefighting Assessments, Arson Investigation, Public Health, Community Emergency Planning. The Fire Prevention Division is ultimately responsible for ensuring more than 800 businesses meet fire codes, protection of over 40,000 people, and the preservation of nearly $1.5 Billion in building values.
