The Town of Brownsburg provides numerous locations for residents to bring their dogs, whether hiking the trails or playing in the grass. The recent addition of Cardinal Bark Park, located at 3432 Hornaday Rd., has not only added to this list of locations but has specifically provided a space dedicated to man’s best friend. Conveniently located next to the B&O Trail and within Cardinal Park, the dog park is a two-acre, fenced-in play area with plenty of room for dogs to run. It is the perfect place for some unleashed fun!

Cardinal Bark Park, voted Indy’s Best by Fox 59, is separated into two fenced-in spaces. One area is dedicated specifically for large dogs, while the other is for smaller dogs under 30 pounds. These separate spaces help to provide a safe environment for both dogs and owners enjoying the park. Both spaces have natural features for engaging play and plenty of room for dogs to run!

Cardinal Bark Park also caters to dog owners, providing an open community space for interaction with other resident dog owners. Benches for seating are spread throughout the park, as well as shaded areas and walking paths.

A wash station is readily available for rinsing off muddy paws, and water fountains for both dogs and their owners. Public restrooms are also available just outside of the dog park fence.

A Cardinal Bark Park membership and pet vaccination documents are required to promote the dogs' safety. Members must be at least 18 years of age and can apply online through the Cardinal Bark Park Application.
