Residents with a hankering for BBQ on the north side of town will be happy to know Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is open for in-restaurant dining, delivery and pick up. Plus, Dickey’s offers catering services. Check out the menu on the website. Hours are 11 AM-8 PM daily. Located at 1561 N. Green St.
Renovations at Ritter’s Frozen Custard at 1521 N. Green Street are underway. While the building is getting readied for business, you can enjoy frozen treats at the food truck parked next to the building from 4-9 PM most days.

Bogan Eye Care and SLA Audiology hosted ribbon-cutting ceremonies on July 21 at their new office spaces at 480 E. Northfield Dr. Both companies were joined by members of the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce to celebrate. Bogan Eye Care has moved into the former BC Awards space at the east end of the building, while SLA Audiology has taken over the former Bogan space on the opposite end of the structure.
Ben’s Garage is open at 533 E. Main Street (just north of the corner of Odell and Main). Hours are 8 AM-5 PM Monday-Friday. Owner Ben Lacher will host an open house on Friday, Aug. 6 from 5:30-8 PM that will include raffles for prizes and coupons. Come hungry, because the first 200 people that show up will get free wings and fries from the As You Wish food truck!
Sonny’s Famous New York Hot Dogs is a hot dog cart newly opened by longtime resident Fred Arkanoff. An impromptu ribbon-cutting ceremony happened at the June 26 Brownsburg Farmers Market. You can find the cart at the Farmers Market most weeks. The Farmers Market is open Thursdays from 4-7 PM on Town Hall Green (61 N. Green St.) through September 30.
Bulldog Community Gaming recently opened at 1060 E Main St. in the building that houses Best Friends Coffee and Bagels. Gamers can come together to play favorites including YuGiOh, Pokemon or video games. Hours are 5-10 PM weekdays, Saturdays 2-10 PM and Sundays noon-8 PM.
