First Aid Training Classes
American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Training
The Brownsburg Fire Territory can provide CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications based on the American Heart Association Classes and Guidelines. There are two ways to obtain or renew your certification, in-person classroom sessions or skills practice and testing sessions. Each class will provide the student with an American Heart Association (AHA) certification e-card, valid for two years.
The classroom sessions are typically 4-8 hours long, depending on the type of certification needed. Fees are based on the kind of class and certification required. All classroom and skills practice and testing sessions are held at the BFT Training Center located at 470 E. Northfield Drive, Brownsburg, IN 46112.
The skills practice and testing sessions are 30 minutes long and can only be completed after completing the certification's online course. The online class is available at onlineaha.org. Once you have completed the online class, print off the certificate, and bring it to the skills practice and testing session. There is a fee associated with skills practice and testing session that is based upon the certification needed.
